3. We'll write you back a.s.a.p. with the total price, turn-around time and payment instructions. There is an 8.375% sales tax for New York State residents so please let us know if you are in NY.
Bonbon Oiseau accepts credit cards (MC, Visa, Amex) via phone, email or fax (646) 619-4304 or we'll be happy to send you a paypal invoice on-line through paypal. We accept paper checks/e-checks but there is a 5 day wait period while your check clears before production will start. There is a $35 bounced check fee.
After payment is received, production on piece will begin and will be shipped 1-4 days after payment is received unless otherwise specified.
Shipping is via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Shipping and handling charges will be determined once your order is placed. While we're not responsible for lost or stolen packages, you are welcome to purchase insurance for your package for $3 more for that peace of mind. There is an additional charge if you prefer to use UPS Ground or Fed-Ex next day air.

A few things you should know: Bonbons are usually one of a kind and may be made with feathers, vintage glass and other materials, silk and sometimes precious stones and sterling silver. They are strong and beautiful but also delicate, so...
Many Bonbons are designed using antique glass so please be gentle and handle with care.
Store away from heat and dust, preferably in a jewelry box or on the lovely letterpress card in the pretty box that comes with all Bonbons.
To slow the tarnishing process on your sterling silver pieces,store them in a cool place such as a box or a drawer. If tarnishing does occur, just wipe gently with a jewelry cloth. If you want to use silver cleaner, use a cotton swab and be especially careful with bonbons that have vintage glass, pearls or jewels. Pearls or opals should never be touched with silver cleaner!
Brass charms will darken with age and if you wear your jewelry when bathing or swimming or when simply not worn. The darkening adds to vintage look and feel of your piece. If you prefer, they can be polished up gently with a soft cotton cloth or a little commercial brand Brasso, found at most hardware stores or even supermarkets. Again, keep this and all chemicals away from pearls.
Some natural wear may occur with certain pieces which will aid in your bonbon’s “vintage look” especially pieces with fabric flowers, feathers and ribbon.
Feathers can be preened into shape and some jewelry can be adjusted to your own specs.
Fabrics, beads and colors: occasionally the color of the ribbon, beads or fabrics used to make bonbon’s may vary slightly from the color on-screen. Return Policy: We want you to be happy, but if for any reason you are not happy with your Bonbon jewelry, return within 14 days of shipping date for credit, exchange or refund. Hair ornaments, custom pieces such as money clips that have been stamped with initials and sale items are non-returnable, ONLY unworn and undamaged jewlery shipped back to us in it's original packaging is eligible for return. Please e-mail us to let us know the reason for your return and wrap the unworn and undamaged piece in it's original packaging along with a copy of your receipt.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable and customer is kindly responsible for return shipping via USPS with delivery confirmation. Shipping USPS Priority or First Class with delivery confirmation ensures a tracking number so we can be sure to find your piece. Exchanges, store credit or refunds will be issued after piece is received and inspected at our studio.
Repairs: We stand behind the quality and handmade craftsmanship of all Bonbon Oiseau Jewelry. With the exception of normal wear on ribbons and fabrics, if your jewelry is in need of repair within 3 months of receipt based on normal usage, simply e-mail your problem to email@example.com. When shipping, send us the item along with your receipt. Charges may apply and you will be notified at the time the jewelry is assessed and prior to beginning repair. For your protection, please send all returns via USPS Priority Mail with delivery confirmation or UPS.
